This is a much smaller ticket than well pump work, and most of it is genuinely minor. One component is the exception.

Practical consequence
Because labour dominates on small sprinkler repairs, batching them is worth real money. If two heads are misting and a third is not popping up, having all three done in one visit costs far less than three visits.
Walk the system with the zones running before you call, note every fault, and give the contractor the full list. That single habit is the difference between one call-out and three.
